Notes: | Mr. DeShautelle was born in Marksville, LA, received his B.A. in education at Louisiana College and came to California to get his Masters Degree at National University, Sherman Oaks. He taught for a couple of years, then became a Juvenile Correction Educator for L.A. County. He retired this year after 30 years on he job. Athletically he wasted his youth on such sports as baseball, football, basketball etc. before trying golf at the age of 36. It seems he liked and perhaps just might have a penchant for it. He and his wife Anna were regulars on our local area golf courses until Dante and Maya came along. Now after successful hip surgery and retirement, he has had time to work on his game and joined the group with a terrific initial +2 handicap! |
